Dear Drawn2Art,

I am writing to express my interest in the Part Time Art Teacher position at Drawn2Art, as advertised on indeed.com. With a strong background in studio art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in progress from Cal State San Bernardino, coupled with an Associate of Arts (AA) Transfer Major in Studio Art from Riverside City College, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your team.

As a multi-artist, I have honed my skills across various mediums including acrylic and oil painting, charcoal and vine charcoal drawing, ceramics, sculpture, and digital illustration. My passion for art extends beyond traditional mediums, as I have also delved into graffiti art, calligraphy, and even animation pixel art. I have showcased my work in exhibitions such as the Raleigh Art Night BLM Art Protest, and my solo artworks “Love” and “Dream” were featured in the Urban Art Mapping Research Project based at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

My artistic approach is characterized by a blend of traditional techniques and contemporary influences. I draw inspiration from my classical art training and integrate elements of graffiti-style expression into my work, creating edgy organic shapes and experimenting with mixed media sculptures. Additionally, my proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software enables me to bring my artistic visions to life digitally.

I am particularly drawn to Drawn2Art because of teaching classical training to the youth. I am eager to bring my creativity, technical skills, and collaborative spirit to your team and contribute to the innovative projects at Drawn2Art.Thank you for considering my application. I am excited about the opportunity to discuss how my artistic background and skills align with the needs of Drawn2Art. I am available for an interview at your earliest convenience and can be reached at 951-203-5980 or via email at pfcsanchez43@gmail.com.

sincerely,

Federico Sanchez

Artist Statement:

I am descendant of Mexican immigrants. I am US Army Veteran. I identify as a Chicano Japanoid Artist. My artistic journey spans a wide array of mediums, including sculpture, drawing, typography, painting, animation, and digital art. Each medium serves as a unique universe for exploration and expression. My creative process knows no bounds; I begin with a vision of form and continuously manipulate it and the composition around it until it aligns with basic design principles. I seamlessly transition between genres, crafting atmospheric still lifes one moment and figurative drawings the next.
